I am a PhD student at The Institute for Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology (TTK) at RWTH Aachen. I study dark matter –the mysterious stuff that comprises about 85% of the matter content of the observable universe– and write popular science articles (here or over at the TTK blog) usually accompanied by art/comics of dubious quality.
On this blog, I mostly tell stories, fictional or otherwise, punctuated by long periods of silence, because, you know, grad school. I also kind-of-but-not-really review books and sometimes, when I’m really, really frustrated, write (or doodle) about being a Woman In STEM or a Muslim Woman (TM) in general.
Anyway, welcome to my lair. It gets dark here. Like most of the Universe.
